Amparo Torres

Amparo Torres has over 24 years of experience as a communications professional, acquired over the course of her time at various well-known multinationals, consultancies and global communication agencies.

Amparo has had the roles of Communications Director at Terra-Lycos, External Communications Officer at British Telecom (BT Spain), Marketing Communications Officer at Ericsson Spain; and led the launch project for Ericsson group´s first global communications campaign from Stockholm (Sweden).

In the consultancy arena, Amparo has held the posts of Expansion Director at the Beaumont Bennett group (Grey & Trace) and Telecommunications Area Director with Sanchis & Asociados, leading political and institutional communications consultancy in Spain and Latin America, subsequently bought by the British group Citigate.

As a businesswoman and founder of the AT&A Comunicación consultancy, Amparo specialises in offering strategic communications services to companies and institutions, initially with particular emphasis on foreign companies with commercial interests in Spain.

AT&A Comunicación offers a rigorous, personalised and quality service, with the aim of generating awareness and reinforcing its clients´ positioning, increasing knowledge of their brand, and contributing, through effective communication, to achieving their business objectives.

Amparo has a degree in Modern and Contemporary History from Madrid´s Autonomous University, a Master´s Degree in Commercial Management and Marketing from the Instituto de Empresa (IE) and a further Master´s Degree in Business Communication from Corporación Multimedia and the University of San Luis (Missouri)´s Journalism Faculty, amongst other post-graduate courses.
